Greystone Expands Management Team

Roger Payne has joined the Greystone Alloys management team as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Payne comes to Greystone from the Vac Air Division of Keywell, LLC where he retired as Sr. V.P. for Technology and Development. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from SUNY Fredonia and has spent the last 40 years working in all areas of the alloy recycling business. His initial focus will be on instituting advances in the technical capabilities at Greystone Alloys both in the area of data acquisition, processing procedures and equipment.

On May 1, 2010, Greystone Alloys moved into their new facility at 10545 Fisher Road in Houston, TX . The new facility provides the space necessary to accommodate the ever-increasing volume of material being purchased and processed by Greystone. The location is ideal as it is situated at the apex formed by the Sam Houston Beltway and Route 290, facilitating easy access to these major transportation routes. The new facility is an important component in the company’s growth plan and will serve as a central processing hub for future expansion.
